Dear Uncles and Aunties who work at Givology:
How are you?
My name is Yan Shangui. Thank you very much for all the help you had provided me. I feel deeply thankful.
Your love is like a wall, protecting my heart when it was about to break and giving me faith when I needed it the most. Your love is like a rainbow, showing me the beauty of life after all I had been through. Your love is like a beautiful cloud, guiding me into a better life. Sometimes, your love is like a bowl of rice, normal but feeding me when I am hungry. Your love is like a paper towel, real, whiping the tears away from me when I am crying. Anyway, there's no word to describe your love. I fell so happy and moved by your help.
Dear uncles and aunties, I can tell you that:
1. Right now my school life is OK - I have a lot of great classmates and also a great teacher who is extremely helpful to me. Even though I am having trouble with certain subjects, with my teacher's help I have found interesting ways to learn them. But right now I am still looking for a course that I can call my favorite.
2. This is how I motivate myself: I often tell myself, the day after I graduate from university is the day I will find my dream job. So I cannot relax right now - I must leave the poor life I am living right now.
3. My sister is also going to school, and adding her tuition and mine to our family’s basic living cost is going to be a big problem for us. In order to make more money, we started to plant chili. But with the bad weather and also the drop in chili prices, our family financial situation has become even worse. But looking on the bright side I think we are very lucky that we are not one of the Wenchuan earthquake families.
4. My dream job is the same - I think I will become a good police officer.
Finally, I want to invite all of you to my hometown pingyuan.
