Inspire others with your actions and experiences!
Especially in today’s volatile world, creating change can feel overwhelming, but as we believe at Givology, a movement starts with small individual actions – one person, one idea, one action. No matter how old or young you are or your background and prior experiences, each of us has the power to improve the community around us – whether defined locally or globally. We founded Givology on the idea that small hours and small dollars can aggregate into a powerful force of change. Today more so than ever, we think that this ethos is even more important.
For this holiday season, we’re launching #GivInspiration, a social media campaign that challenges everyone to share their own thoughts, advice, and experiences in how to take action and make change, in whatever form it means to you personally.
The ask:
– Please post a 30-60 second video on Instagram Reels, Youtube Shorts, and/or TikTok or emailed to info@givology.org, tagged #GivInspiration and #Givology. Or if you prefer to us directly post (instead of posting and tagging us), please upload at this Form
– The prompt is to share your own experience in creating change in your community (however you define it) and practical advice inspiring others to also get started
– Feel free to tag your friends as well to encourage them to participate!
Our goal is to have each video become a growing web of inspiration, connecting people across communities, passions, and causes with one shared goal – to motivate kindness and giving!
This campaign isn’t about having all the answers or showing a grandiose impact – it’s sharing stories about how small actions can have a cascading effect and that change can start small.. By sharing your advice, you could be the spark that gives someone else the courage or clarity to take their first step. We’ll assemble all of the entries together in a capstone video, but as food for thought, see the Reel below from current Givology volunteers.
