Hello, I greet you in the name of Christ. I want to tell you that winter is about to take place and Christmas, a time of sharing with our loved ones natillas, buñuelos, and many more traditional dishes, is about to arrive. Christmas is one of the most-anticipated months. It is really beautiful everywhere and houses and trees are decorated in a Christmas-fashion. I have been very well thanks to God. He assisted me in my worship, which has been very beautiful. What I like the most is the praise.
I also have new friends in my elementary school that are also Christians. They want to do what I want to do, which is to communicate from God to worldly kids and offer them support. For me, I am very happy to meet people that have the same final goals as I do. I am very happy and I would like to learn how you are doing. I miss you a lot and I give you enormous hugs and wishes.

It has been a crazy month at Happy Kids Center and Laxmi has been having the time of her life! Between Happy Kids Center's 3rd birthday, Dashain Festival, Halloween, and Tihar Festival, she has been very busy! But, don't worry, that has not stopped her from staying focused in school!
Anisa's 2rd term in school finished last week and we have great news! Laxmi passed with distinctions, earning a score of 92% on her term exams. She was present in class 59 out of the 65 days this term. Last term Anisa was ranked number 21 in her class, and this term she is ranked number 3! This is a HUGE jump! Anisa has become significantly more confident, and her teacher says she is participating more and more every day! We are very proud of Anisa's hard work this term and we hope you are too! This is no small feat. Most of the children in Anisa's class have been in school since they were very small. Joining school for the first time at 7 years old and catching up so quickly proves how dedicated Anisa is to her studies!

Anisa has put together a short introduction letter and a drawing for you and we have attached a few photos of Laxmi enjoying all of the festivals over the last few months! We hope you enjoy!

It has been a crazy couple months at Happy Kids Center and Nitu has been enjoying every minute of it! Between Happy Kids Center's 3rd birthday, Dashain Festival, Halloween, and Tihar Festival, she has been very busy! Nitu took part of in a cultural program at her school, where she and her sister performed a beautiful poem in english! At HKC's Tihar festival Nitu performed in two dances in our Tihar program, one dance with her sister and one with her two closest friends! Nitu loves the limelight and enjoyed sharing her culture with all of the HKC supporters who gathered at various guesthouses to watch the event. Nitu even took over as MC for a time! But, don't worry, that has not stopped her from staying focused in school!
This term Nitu passed her exams with distinctions. This was a big term for Nitu! Each term Nitu has been slowly improving her class rank. Last term Nitu was ranked number 9 in the class, the term before that she was ranked 13. This term Nitu jumped up to number 7 in the class! Nitu was present in class 58 out of the 65 days this term. Nitu's best marks were in Social Studies, English and Nepali! We are very proud of Nitu's hard work this term and we hope you are too! We are providing all of the support we can to continue the positive trend in Nitu's academics that we have witnessed over the last two terms.
Nitu has put together a short introduction letter and a drawing for you! We hope you enjoy!

It has been a crazy couple months at Happy Kids Center and Suhana has been enjoying every minute of it! Between Happy Kids Center's 3rd birthday, Dashain Festival, Halloween, and Tihar Festival, she has been very busy! Suhanna took part of in a cultural program at her school, where she and her sister performed a beautiful poem in english! At HKC's Tihar festival Suhanna performed in three dances in our Tihar program, one dance with her sister, one with her three closest friends, and one all by herself! This is a big feat for Suhanna, who tends to be a bit more quiet and reserved. We are so proud to see her growing! But, don't worry, that has not stopped her from staying focused in school!
This term Suhanna passed her exams with distinctions, but this is no surprise, Suhanna has remained steadily at the top of her class since she began at Proxima last year, this term she was ranked number 5 in the class. She was present in class 59 out of the 65 days this term. Suhanna's best marks were in English, Nepali and Social Studies! We are very proud of Suhanna's hard work this term and we hope you are too!
Suhanna has put together a short introduction letter and a drawing for you and we have attached a photo of Suhanna's work through our child marriage prevention program ! We hope you enjoy!

Neema Sesay
Neema has completed her vocational training at St. Francis Vocational School and has gained employment at a safari lodge in Tanzania. She is now able to support herself and provide supplemental assistance to her family.
This is a wonderful outcome for both Neema, her family, and as importantly, all the girls in the village of Eluai as it proves to the elders and the fathers that girls can be contributing members of their families if they receive an education after primary school.
