Know all about UPSEE including Eligibility & Selection Process

India is fast emerging as a country producing highly intelligent students who are serving in the best of MNCs and also there is a large ratio of Indians working in the developed countries of the globe. In India, one needs to put days and nights together to get admitted to the top universities and colleges. To beg a seat in one of the finest technical universities, i.e., the DR. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam technical university, it requires clearing the state entrance exam known as the UPSEE. The university admits the students on the UPSEE counseling. This exam is ranked amongst the most reputed exams of the country. All the institutions which come under DR. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam University distribute seats to the students on the basis on their UPSEE counseling.
The exam was first conducted in the year 1959. The full form of UPSEE states entrance examination- Uttar Pradesh Technical University. The intuitions in the university are known for architecture, pharmacy, management courses, and most importantly engineering. Lakhs of students apply each year for this university paper, and from this large number, only a few are able to get marks equivalent or more than the [url=https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/upsee-exam-cutoff]UPSEE cut off[/url].
The UPSEE eligibility criteria to appear in the 2019 UPSEE for admission procedure are as follows:
[ul] [li]For the sake of admission in the first year of B. Pharma/B. Tech. /B. Des. /MCA(integrated), M tech (dual degree), the student should have passed the 10+2 level exam or any other exam equivalent to it from any known university or board in all the compulsory subjects and one optional subject as stated in the norms of the university clauses. A student who has passed intermediate exams from the UP board is also eligible.[/li] [/ul] [ul] [li]A minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate is mandatory in three subjects, for the ST and SC candidates the minimum percentage required is 40%. If in case a student has passed a diploma with a minimum of 45% (engineering and technology), is also eligible for the B. Tech course.[/li] [/ul] [ul] [li]In case of admission in the case of BHMCT/BFAD/MBA (integrated)/B Voc/BFA, in the first year, the student must have passed the intermediate exam from the UP Board or 10+2 level exam, or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.[/li] [/ul] [ul] [li]The student must have acquired 45% marks in aggregate, and in the case of SC and ST, the minimum aggregate percentage required is 40%. [/li] [/ul] [ul] [li]In case of admission in the first year of B. Arch, the candidate is required to have passed the intermediate exam of the UP board or should have passed the 10+2 level examination or any other equivalent exam from a recognized board or university.[/li] [/ul] [ul] [li]In the aggregate of a minimum 50% of marks [/li] [li]50% marks are required the compulsory subjects, i.e., physics, chemistry, maths.[/li] [/ul] [ul] [li]In case of admission in the first year of B. tech (agriculture), the student must have passed the intermediate exam of 2019, or the candidate must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board or university. The ones who have already cleared their eligible for B. tech are also eligible for B. tech (agriculture).[/li] [/ul] [ul] [li]The ones who have cleared the eligibility of B. tech are already eligible for B. tech (agriculture engineering) and B. tech (biotechnology)[/li] [/ul] In the year 2019, the [url=https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/upsee-exam-counselling]UPSEE counseling[/url] will start from June 10. The candidates who have qualified the examination will be called to attend the UPSEE counseling; the counseling will be conducted in 3 different rounds. The students who are able to get marks more than or equal to the UPSEE cut off are put under the category of the qualified students. To get marks equal to the UPSEE cut off isn’t a task.
The qualified students have to register themselves and have to submit all the required documents and are also bound to deposit the fee at the time of counseling. As the counseling process goes on, the students are asked to set their college preference and choose the course of their choice. The UPSEE result of seat allotment is declared after each round of counseling. There are three basic criteria of UPSEE seat allotment:
[ul] [li]The rank secured by the student as per the UPSEE result and the UPSEE cut off[/li] [li]The availability of seat[/li] [li]On the basis of preferences set by the student [/li] [/ul] The UPSEE result stays high where few students are able to score full marks.
