• Pens, Pencils and Sharpeners for Tanzanian Schools: An Update October, 2018

  This EfforTZ Project was established to acquire and transport pens, pencils and pencil sharpeners to more than 4,000 impoverished school students in very four poor public primary schools in Tanzania.
  In early January we transported a full year’s school supplies to Tanzania and distributed them to our four public primary schools and to two private, non-profit educational organizations.
  In August and September of 2018 we ran another school supply drive and are in the process of organizing them for transport to Tanzania and distribution to our school and education program partners and their students in early 2019.

  In early July we transported the 2nd semester school supplies to Tanzania and they were distributed in late July to our 4 public primary schools and to two private, non-profit educational organizations.
  This winter we will be transporting another large volume of school supplies to these same 6 educational programs and distributing them for 1st semester of 2018.

  This EfforTZ Project was established to acquire and transport pens, pencils and pencil sharpeners to 4,000 impoverished school students in very four poor public primary schools in Tanzania.
  This past month we completed a highly successful school supply drive-- the supplies will be delivered to our partner schools in December. One group of students at the newly-formed non-profit, Precious Primary School in Nshupu, received theirs early.

• Helped Kaloleni Primary School!

  This EfforTZ Project was established to acquire and transport pens, pencils and pencil sharpeners to 4,000 impoverished school students in very four poor public primary schools in Tanzania.
  This past week, pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners were delivered to the more than 1,800 students at Kaloleni Primary School, a public school in Arusha. In addition, blackboard chalk was delivered the teachers at Kaloleni Primary School too.
