General guidelines for students appearing for ONGC recruitment exams

ONGC provides recruitment for various posts ranging from those for graduates to engineers or even medical student. With a rather comfortable pay scale, a lot of students apply for [url=]ONGC recruitment[/url] exam every year. The levels for the job vacancies were A-I, A-II, W-I. ONGC hosts many vacancies such as, for Nurse, Technician (Pathology, Radiology, and Optometry), Pharmacist and Health Care Attendant.

Age Requirement: Candidates should be aged between 18-30 years for General category. Age relaxation is available for other sections as per the government rules.

Eligibility: The candidates should have their 10+2 or Graduate degree from a recognized university (60%in aggregate) with good academic records. Applicants may need to have special qualification according to the post for which they are applying.

Pay Scale: The pay scale may vary from Rs 10,000 to Rs 27,000 depending upon the post for which you apply.

Application Process: Fill the online application which can be found the official website of ONGC under Career link. You would need to upload your photo and signature to complete the application process. Selected candidates will be asked to appear for an interview.

Gate 2016 Score: 60 marks

Interview: 25 marks

Academic Qualification: 25 marks out of which 20 marks would be for essential qualification and 5 marks would be for candidates possessing a higher qualification.

For engineering students, the pay scale may vary from Rs 24000  Rs 50,000 with a 3% increase every year. Additional pay as per company guideline would be applicable.
