Focus on Education: Ruth Jeng, PEACH Foundation
Ruth Jeng, the founder and chairperson of PEACH Foundation, graduated from Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature and later awarded an MBA degree by Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
Ms. Jeng had worked at the accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand before starting her own real estate investment company in the early 90's. Her business included apartments and hotel resorts.
She retired in 1998 to devote herself fully on projects that improved children education in disadvantaged regions of China. Ruth is also a volunteer of the Bay Area Suicide Prevention Center.
