Hello Lynn:
Thank you for your letter. I am very happy for that because it is the first time I receive letters form somebody as special as you are, with a generous heart. God bless your life abundantly. I am truly thankful to you because you are not only supporting my studies but also my little brother and sister’s education. For this reason I want to go to college, work and be able to help my family.
I did very well at school last year. This year I am in 5th grade. This will be my last elementary school year and trusting God next year I will pass to 6th grade. I feel I have a big responsibility because I do not want to let you down. My school year goes for 10 months total. We start classes at the end of January and finish at the beginning of December and take one month of vacation in the middle of the year. This year I have the same school teacher as last year. She is very nice and I understand what she teaches me. I study 10 subjects: mathematics, Spanish, Sciences, Ethics, religion, Art, English, Computers, between others. We have exams. My class is made out of 35 children and the teacher. It is a big class.
I would also like, if possible, to hear from you and share things. I hope you get this letter very soon so you hear about me. Once again, thank you very much for thinking about us. May God bless you and your family! In closing I send you a big hug with love.

Gracias por tu carta estoy muy feliz por que es la primera vez que recibo cartas de alguien especial como tu con ese corazón generoso que dios te bendiga muchísimo en toda tu vida. La verdad estoy muy agradecida no solo me apoyas a mi si no que también yo puedo ayudar a mis hermanitos en el estudio por eso quiero llegar a una universidad trabajar y poder ayudar a mi familia
Te cuento en el colegio el año pasado me fue muy bien en este año ya estoy en el grado 5 de primaria es el ultimo si dios quiere el otro año ya paso al bachillerato por eso es una responsabilidad muy grande con todos.
Mi año escolar es de 10 meses en total ya que ingresamos a finales de enero y terminamos a comienzos de diciembre y quitamos un mes de vacaciones en mitad de año este año me toco con la misma profesora ella es muy linda y le entiendo todo este año estamos viendo 10 materias matemáticas, español, naturales, sociales, ética, religión, artes, ingles, sistemas, entre otras y evaluaciones. Mi salón lo conformamos 35 niños y la profesora es muy grande el curso.
A mi me gustaría también en lo posible pues saber de ti que me cuentes cositas espero que recibas esta carta muy pronto y sepas de mi escríbeme y de nuevo muchas pero muchas gracias por pensar en nosotros que dios te bendiga mucho a ti y tu familia, me despido con un fuerte abrazo con cariño.
