Isabela is a seven-year-old girl born in Yopal Casanare who lives with her mother and grandparents. Her father neither lives with them nor provides money for her education or food. To support Isabela, Isabela's mother is working part time at a communications company, and earns $150/month.
In her free time, Isabela takes music lessons, plays sports, and plays with her friends. In the future, Isabela dreams include making a big impact on society by becoming a pediatrician, nurse, teacher, or veterinary doctor.

Letter from Colombia!
Dear Sponsors, I want to take this opportunity to write to you and tell you about the wonderful things that God is doing in my life. I finished this school year with excellent grades and a diploma as recognition of my work. This made me really happy because my parents were delighted and I thank God because He has given me a family that supports me. I'm still part of the worship group at church where I play the tambourine and the piano. I practice every day to get better. I also wanted to let you know that in May, I will turn 9. I am going to celebrate with my family and, at church, they will sing "Happy Birthday" to me. I started this year feeling really dedicated and I am still the top of my class. My teachers have really congrtulated me on my effort. I hope that you are also happy and that God goes with you and blesses you always.
