Complete Contest Rules:
Participation and Sign-Up
o Please send the contest link to your friends and family! You can sign-up to participate on the contest page
o Each day, from July 27 to August 5, the Givologist who recruits the most people to join will receive a gift card
Video Rules
o Videos should be 30-60 seconds in length and can be submitted as a response to the above video, and pertain to one or more of the following topics: (a) “What does giving mean to you?”, (b) “Why is education important?”, (c) “Why does Givology mean to you?”
o Creativity encouraged!
o The videos are due by September 25 at 11:59 PM EST, posted as a "video response" to the original video
o The Givology team will choose the top 5 video finalists. Your friends, family, and Givology members will then vote on their favorites.
o The creator of the wining video will receive a $300 prize in gift cards and cash. The runner up will also be awarded small prizes. Finalist videos will be featured on the Givology website, newsletter, and community!
Essay Rules
o Essay should be from 250-1000 words and can be submitted on the contest page
o The essay must pertain to one or more of the following topics: (a) “What does giving mean to you?”, (b) “Why is education important?”, (c) “Why does Givology mean to you?”
o Essays are due by September 25 at 11:59 PM EST
o The Givology team will choose the top three essays, which will be featured on our website.
o The winner will receive a prize of $150 in gift cards and prizes, and the runner up will also be awarded a prize
