Givology - give to learn, learn to give

Michael is living with his grandmother and helps her on the farm even during school hours since the parents cannot afford to take care of him. He would like to go to school, but there is not enough money to send him. For nine years old, Michael is a very smart boy. Though he sees the reasons why he must help on the farm, he still says he wants to go to school and learn so one day, he can become a teacher.

Michael is happy when he is at church with his friends. After church, they usually play soccer. Michael describes himself as a good player but says he needs to learn how to hit the ball off of his head better. He says he is a good runner, though.

If Michael could be any animal, he said he would be a lion because they’re the strongest and no one tries to fight a lion.
