Luisa is 12 years old and was born in Paz de Ariporo. She lives with her mother and her two brothers and a sister. Her father also lives with them in the same house, but they are not on good terms, and he does not provide money for his children. The house where they live in is not finished; it's located at an open pipe, and the entrance of the house is not paved. The ceiling is made of zinc and the walls are not finished either. One of Luisa's older brother works part-time as a cleaner and dedicates the rest of his time to studying. Luisa's mother also works as a housekeeper and earns $125 USD per month.
Luisa loves reading and playing with her friends, and hopes that when she grows up she could be a pre-school teacher, and set other children on the road to education.
