My name is Cissy Namukasa, but people call me Smiley because I always smile even when I am sad. I am the oldest child in my family, and we make and sell crafts. However, they all take a long time to make, and sometimes we have to sell them at a really low price because no one wants to buy them. Because my mother is handicapped and has trouble walking, I take care of my two brothers and run the household. However, I have become really good at weaving mats and basket, so I make them in my spare time. I have two brothers John four years and Musoke six year. I like that I’m going to the Circle of Peace School because I want to learn how to think about and express my opinions. I believe that education is important, so when I grow up, I want to be a teacher and teach my friends in the village.
