This EfforTZ student was admitted to our scholarship program in 2015. Her year started with some bad news: she was suffering from scoliosis and her life was in danger. We quickly took Anjela for treatment; now she has been plastered for a cast that will have to worn and modified annually for the next 4-5 years.
Her first year in our scholarship was a pre-Form I program for Anjela and she completed it successfully, with an overall average grade of C and a position of 14 in her class of 49 students.
This past month, Anjela was admitted to Sangiti Secondary School as a Form I student. This is a major achievement in a country where only 59% of the students are admitted to secondary school.
